Club Layout "Mayne"
14m x 6m, 16.5mm & 12mm gauge indoor layout.
Operate in excess of 12 trains simultaneously over an interesting prototypical track plan.
Track clearances allow for QR Sn3½ and On30 narrow gauge models.
DC control.
Members are continually upgrading the layout by the addition of scenery and new buildings / structures.

Club Layout
Outdoor/Garden Rail
The Outdoor 32 or 45mm gauge track facility at AMRA Qld Branch is a 40m double circuit at a 1m height for operating ease.
It caters for all types of trains normally seen in the backyard Gardens.
These are powered by Track or battery power, clockwork or steam.
Steam powered models are also becoming very popular.
The main operating day is the third Saturday of the month from 10am to 3pm.
Other minor operating times are on selected Tuesday lunch times and evenings.

Honorary Life Membership Awarded to Peter Dusha
On Saturday, 18th February,2008, a very large number of members were present to see Peter Dusha receive his Honorary Life Membership badge and certificate. Peter served as Club secretary for over 11 years, in what is one of any clubs most demanding positions. The club is grateful to Peter for his professionalism in carrying out this role.

| July Open Day, 2008
Our open day last Saturday was a great success, weather perfect, 400 + visitors; thanks to all members who assisted. This was followed by our “Christmas in July” dinner, great food provided by the ladies, attended by 65 members & partners. Meritorious awards were made to the following members, who have contributed to the clubs successful operation over many years:
